3D Laser scanning is the fast acquisition of measured 3D coordinated (XYZ) point data by utilising a 3D Laser Scanner to digitally scan an object, building or space. The resultant registered point cloud is a highly accurate and comprehensive dataset. If required the point cloud can be coloured with HDR imagery.

3D laser scanning is excellent at reducing or eliminating problems within hard-to-reach areas, along with issues surrounding safety and time restricted access. The complex data allows analysis and segmentation of any part of the point cloud within the CAD environment, thus offering our clients access to a greater level, and quality, of information.

CES provide accurately registered point clouds that are orientated to the client’s site coordinate system, which are then issued in a format that can be imported into your 3D software.
